Biography

Dr. Jennifer Doane is an accredited dual board-certified medical dermatologist.
Originally from Nova Scotia, she graduated with first-class honours from her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and mathematics at Dalhousie University. She went on to complete a Master of Applied Science degree in biomedical engineering which included courses, research, and thesis work. This experience brought her to pursue a Medical Degree also at Dalhousie University and subsequently finish her training as a dermatologist with the University of Calgary Dermatology Residency program. She holds dual Canadian and American board certification in dermatology, as both a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
During her 15 years of post-secondary education, Dr. Doane has earned multiple awards and scholarships. She has trained beside experts in the field of dermatology in both Canada and Australia. Her commitment to continued learning and her breadth of knowledge has gained her publications in journals in science, engineering, and medicine. Dr. Doane has had ongoing involvement in numerous medical societies and in teaching both residents and medical students.
