Dr. Fatmah AlZahrani brings a wealth of expertise with over 15 years of post-secondary education. She holds an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of British Columbia and completed her Doctor of Medicine at Dalhousie University. She then pursued a Dermatology residency at the University of Alberta, becoming a triple board-certified dermatologist. Dr. AlZahrani is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and the American Board of Dermatology (ABD, FAAD) in general dermatology. She further specialized in Pediatric Dermatology through a rigorous fellowship at the Phoenix Children's Hospital / Mayo Clinic. Driven by a passion for laser surgery, she also completed a second fellowship in Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology with the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS). Throughout her career, Dr. AlZahrani has received numerous accolades for her academic achievements, research contributions, and leadership. Her research focuses on skin cancer, pediatric dermatology, and laser surgery, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and invitations to serve as a reviewer for high-impact journals. She is also a sought-after speaker at dermatology conferences worldwide.
