Biography
After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Dalhousie University Dr. Macdonald initially worked with expectant mothers in epigenetics research at the IWK Children’s Hospital in Nova Scotia. She later completed her medical education at the University of Ottawa before returning home to the East coast to complete her residency training in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University. After practicing Family Medicine for several years, Dr. Macdonald now maintains a focused medical practice in skin disease and overall skin health.
It wasn't long into her career that Dr. Macdonald's passion for aesthetics and anti-aging medicine naturally unfolded. After operating as medical director to one of Calgary's large cosmetic injectables clinics, she now travels nationwide as an educator in advanced medical aesthetics, and practices cosmetic medicine both in Calgary and Vancouver, BC. Dr. Macdonald offers cosmetic injectable treatments such as botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers, lasers, and laser therapies for female vaginal rejuvenation.
Dr. Macdonald values the trusting relationship she is able to foster with each of her patients. She believes strongly in the importance of wellness and preventative medicine, and is passionate about working closely with her patients to help them look and feel their best at every age, through her commitment to delivering natural and beautiful results.
