Dr. Haiducu is a Canadian board-certified dermatologist and practices both medical and cosmetic dermatology. He completed both his medical school training and his dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia. Throughout the course of his studies, Dr. Haiducu has won several prestigious awards, including the Premier’s Excellence Scholarship, the UBC Premier Scholarship, the UBC Wesbrook Scholarship and the Millennium Foundation National Scholarship. He was awarded the Dean’s Medal for finishing first in his medical school class. He has trained with numerous North American leaders in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Haiducu has conducted research and is published in the areas of skin cancer, skin disease epidemiology, photoprotection and laser therapy. He has presented at the Canadian Dermatology Association and American Academy of Dermatology annual meetings. He has special interests in skin cancer treatments and medical aesthetics including injectables and laser therapy.
In his spare time, Dr. Haiducu has been involved in the teaching of medical students and residents as a Clinical Instructor at the UBC Department of Dermatology. He enjoys exploring the beautiful B.C. outdoors.
